Our Writ Petition
Our writ petition came up for hearing on 6/12/2012. The respondents failed to file a reply and asked for more time. The judge has given them a last opportunity to file their reply at next date of hearing on 12/1/2013 .
VOTERS LIST WRIT PETITION UPDATE
The case was due for hearing on 29/11/2012. However, as the judge was on leave that day, hearing has been adjourned to 6/12/2012.
The case will not be taken up tomorrow as the judge has gone on leave
Update on Land Acquisition Case – 20/11/2012
The matter did not come up before the Court. Next date of Hearing not notified. We will update as soon as the date is confirmed.

We are pleased to take this opportunity to update you with the latest developments in the Society.
It is indeed very heartening to note that in spite of all the travails affecting our country, our justice system still offers hope and redemption for ordinary citizens like us.
Our endeavour to have the Society’s elections due to be held on 28/10/2012 quashed has today been accepted by the Hon’ble HC Haryana and Punjab. Our plea that an election based on a defective voters list is a travesty and cannot be upheld has been accepted. This decision has been earned against a backdrop of earlier petitions being dismissed by the Hon’ble HC in the last couple of weeks.
We have worked hard to get this decision; all our efforts have been and will continue to be for members interests at large. Please be assured that we will continue to pursue a course that benefits all legitimate members to obtain their plots. To reach our goal we need your support.

Dear Friends,
It is heartening that over 3000 of you have visited our site in last one week.
However, data inflow for “United Common Minimum Action Programme” is yet slow. So please register with full particulars to take issues FULL ON.
News:- On 29th May 2012, Hon’ble High Court at Chandigarh has ordered the Society/Administrator to file list of voters – members compiled as per directions given vide our writ petition no. 1116 of 2011 by 6th August, 2012.
It is most unfortunate that no progress has been made in this respect in last 1½ years while official machinery is working at your cost, i.e. the funds of the Society.
Even the orders of Addl. Registrar, Co-operative Society, vide our petition no. 13 of 2010 to compile members seniority list based on Seniority of Payments made, for the purpose of allotments of plots finally has not been acted upon.
Thus Friends, things will happen when we are focused on the following agendas.
1) Members having their plot registered should team up for the development of first two approved phases of 216 acres.
2) Members having paid full money for their plots @ Rs. 2100/- per sq. yd. or Rs. 2800/- per sq. yd. unite to compile the seniority list on the basis of payments and focus to free Society land from the Govt. by early hearings of the concerned court cases.
Please join in to help achieve these common minimum programmes for members placed in these two different categories.
